The osprey couples are probably the most entertaining around the 10,000 Islands. If you think your next door neighbors are loud, these fish hunters are extremely "vocal". They're always yelling at each other in their very distinct voice. They also decorate every navigation day mark and make them their very own waterfront stilt house. You gotta love the pelicans, too.
On March 7, we were pulling into an anchorage in Naples and bumped into a hidden, uncharted sandbar, stopping with a lurch. A pelican immediately, within seconds, swops in and lands on our deck as if to say "hey, you can't park here, dummy!"
