LEAVING KEY WEST FOR MARATHON

We woke up on a cold Wednesday morning (Feb 17) and headed out the Key West cruise ship channel towards the Gulf Stream for a 10 hour sail up the Keys to Marathon. It turned out to be a beautiful day, but it was still very nippy. By "nippy", I mean 60 degrees which "feels like" 35 degrees when you're on the water getting hit by a north 15-20knot breeze. Here's a rare pic of Admiral Nancy at the helm . . .she's at the helm often, but rarely lets me catch her on film . . . it's an indian spirit thing she's got.
